What is the Truck of Love?
Our local Rock Hill, SC ministry
serves the poor who fall through the cracks in the system and are in the most
need. We are called on by agencies,
individuals, and God. We find the need and we
fill it with open hearts. If you are helping us, you are helping
individuals that are really in need. It's a win-win situation: the people we
serve win by seeing that there is hope in this society, and you win by adopting a
part of your community that really needs help to get back on their feet. Click here to find out how you can help.

How We Serve Our Communities
Families and Individuals
We
meet the basic needs for many families and individuals throughout the Rock Hill, SC area. These include food, clothing, baby needs, medicine, and, transportation just to name a few. Due to our budget, a donation to a family
doesn't exceed $100 per month. We have at least 60 families that rely on us exclusively to get their basic human needs met
every month to help them get back on their feet.
If you would like to donate to the Truck of Love and be a vehicle for
positive change, please contact us. We SURVIVE on the generous donations
from people like you!
The Domino Effect
The
example of Truck of Love spreads out beyond the fingers that are touched.
The ministry of Truck of Love through Pete and Sue Fullerton has
served as a catalyst for many other service projects over the years. Each year Truck of Love sponsors the Tohono O'Odham Truck of Love leadership training and summer day camp on the Tohono O'O'dham Nation in southeast Arizona. Begun in 1987 this camp serves children and adults from all corners of the Nation. It is a collaboration of Truck of Love with the tribe. Volunteer counselors are needed for the two weeks each summer. Donations provide for two meals each camp day and transportation to outlying villages to enable people to get to camp.
Groups
all over the country, have benefited from our Day
Camp model/system. Every local agency in the area and some national agencies
have been interested in how we operate and how we direct
our ministry to effectively meet the needs of so many. We love to work with
other agencies and people who are interested in developing/improving their own service models and ministries, please contact us if you are interested. We love to bounce off and share ideas
with people interested in our work. We are definitely "doers", and
firestarters. We are sparkplugs for positive change.
Prayer Requests
Oftentimes, people will ask us to kindly pray for them and/or their loved
ones. All prayer requests are answered and prayed for through the Truck
of Love and through the Poor Claire sisters worldwide. All written, spoken,
and/or silent intentions are kindly accepted and prayed for.
